We meet you where you are whether that is in a nursing home, assisted living facility, hospice residence, personal residence, or hospital.

Massage has been recognized to help alleviate common side effects of treatment and symptoms of serious illness including stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue and pain. We strive to provide comfort and respite to the client and their care partners.

As massage therapists we do not diagnose any illness or disease. Our specialty is soft tissue manipulation and assessment based on thorough training in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and pathology. Techniques utilized can include pressure, friction, stroking, percussion, kneading, range of motion, holding and nonspecific stretching with the overall intention of promoting comfort and alleviating suffering.

Our Mission

The goal of Palliative Massage Therapy is to integrate the philosophy of palliative care with the delivery of therapeutic massage.

Palliative massage is an approach that seeks to utilize evidence-based practices to adapt and modify existing massage techniques in response to individual needs and diagnoses. Well versed in current research, we take into account client and family preferences and values in our treatments.

Our Vision

Our objective as palliative massage therapists is to effectively promote the integration of massage therapy as a recognized field in allied health care through continued education, research and service.

As part of your health care team, we will communicate and collaborate with your doctors and caregivers to support your treatment goals.
